Party Fruit Punch Recipe


Need an easy fruit punch recipe for a party?

Here’s what you’ll need:

2 1/2 C sugar
1 C lime juice
2 C orange juice
1 C strong tea
2 C white grape juice
2 C fruit syrup (or strawberry jam)

2 liter ginger ale (or carbonated water)

Here’s what you do:


Put sugar and 1 1/2 C of water in a deep pot. Make a syrup by boiling for 10 minutes. Cool.

Remove and set aside a half of this syrup (about 1 1/2 cups). Leave the other half in the pot. Add to this the lime juice, orange juice, strong tea, white grape juice, and fruit syrup.

You may substitute strawberry jam for the fruit syrup. You will need to add a bit of water to make a thick syrup. You will also need to strain this if you use strain the strawberry jam mixture.

Stir, cover, and allow to stand for 30 minutes.

Add cold water and ice to make 1 1/2 gallons of punch. Add ginger ale or carbonated water.

Taste for sweetness. If desired, add some more of the reserved sugar syrup to taste.


Enjoy your drink!
